Lisa Call
Lisa Call is an artist working in fiber who creates bold geometric quilts that are composed of her richly colored hand dyed fabric. Her work is abstract but draws elements from many places: her love of the colors and geological forms of the southwest, her interest in human-made structures for containment such as fences and stone walls, and her exploration of her own internal psychological walls and boundaries. |

Aleksandra Gaca
A Polish artist, born in 1969, who studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. She graduates in 1997 with a collection of interior fabrics. For this collection she receives the 1st prize Forbo Project Tapijt Grant. Various grants from the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture (Fonds BKVB) enable her to develop her research on three dimensional weave structures. Since then her much appraised, experimental textiles designs have earned her a number of international awards. She lives and works as independend textile designer in Delft. Her fabrics are included in several consumer collections. |
